Desmond Yong - Senior Advisor

Desmond Yong Woon Sui is a Singaporean, obtained his Bachelor of Commerce ( Accountancy)  from Nanyang University in 1975.

He is a Certified Public Accountant of Singapore since 1989.

• From 1975 / 1976, he was the Financial Accountant of FEP International ( formerly known as McGrawHill Far East Publishers).
• From 1976 - 1994, he was appointed in various positions in Finance Department and was last appointed as Vice-President & Comptroller in American International Assurance Company (AIA-Singapore ).
• From 1995 - 1998, he was holding the position in various operations, agency management , bancassurance in AIA- Singapore , and was last appointed as Vice- President (Business Development).
• From 1999 - 2001, he was the VP -Regional Credit Life ( Asia Pacific) of AIA- Home Office.
• From 2001 - 2003, He was appointed as Senior Vice President & General Manager of AIA Indonesia.
• From 2003 - 2004, he was appointed as SVP-Head of Regional High Net Worth ( South East Asia).
• From 2005 - 2008, he was the SVP- Regional Agency Operation until he retired.

He is currently the director of IBS Reinsurance Brokers Singapore Pte Ltd , He is appointed as the Senior Advisor of ASCORT Asia Consulting Group and also the Wealth Management Consultant of Iglobe Partners which is a venture capital company in Singapore.
