Anthony Soewandy - Group Chief Executive Officer

Anthony Soewandy is the Group CEO of ASCORT ASIA Group companies. He is also the Chairman of the Board of OTHELLO SENRYAKU Corp., ASCORT CAPITAL and ASCORT PREMIER GROUP, the subsidiaries of ASCORT ASIA Group.

With his intimate knowledge of the local & international business environment, Anthony will provide the strategic advise to lead the management team of ASCORT ASIA Group worldwidely. 

Anthony began his career in the life insurance industry and worked for major industry players like Sinar Mas Group, AIA, & UOB Group in Indonesia and Singapore.

He then proceeded to add breadth and depth to his career by going into banking, firstly with UOB, followed by Citibank, ANZ, Victoria and KEB Hanabank in Indonesia, holding the directorship positions in mostly Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, as well as Branch Operations. Anthony had an experience also in the process of M&A of RBS retail business in Indonesia during his tenure as the Retail Banking Director with ANZ Indonesia. With the reputation and experience he has acquired over the 25 years span in all these areas, Anthony has earned a well deserved recognition in the banking and financial services industry. 

Anthony is very passionate in the areas of new business set up, recruitment, coaching, training, marketing, branding, corporate communication, consumer retail business & wealth management. He is also a Professional Speaker for Banking, Financial Services Institution & Human Capital Management seminar and international forums.

Anthony holds a Master degree in Financial Management. He also holds the Certified Quality Management (CQM) from American Society for Quality Control, a Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) and Fellow of the AAFM (FAAFM) from American Academy of Financial Management USA.
